PIZZA DOUGH


INGREDIENTS


1 cup of warm water

1 packet or 2 ½ teaspoons of dry yeast

½ cup of good quality olive oil

2 cloves of garlic, chopped

Season to taste with basil, oregano, italian seasoning, grated cheese, etc.

2 ½ to 3 cups of flour


INSTRUCTIONS


  1. Dissolve yeast in warm water

  2. Add olive oil and spices, mix well

  3. Add flour, 1 cup at a time

  4. knead until you make a soft, pliable, but not sticky or dry dough, Add more flour if necessary.

  5. Roll dough out on a large greesed pizza pan.

  6. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

  7. Allow dough to sit in a bowl near heat vent on stovetop so it will rise. 20 minutes.

  8. Makes one large pizza or two large calzone's.

  9. Add sauce and toppings for pizza and cook in a preheated oven on 450 degrees for 20 minutes or until cheese is brown.
