Carbonara Sauce


INGREDIENTS

1 lb. bacon, (also can use pancetta, Pruscutto, or ham)

6 eggs

¼ cup cream

¾ cup of parmesan cheese

½ cup of softened butter

1 lb of pasta


INSTRUCTIONS


1. Cook bacon and break into bite size pieces (if other type of meat, just cut into bite sized pieces)

2. Cook 1 lb. pasta

3. In a skillet, add cream. Keep on stove on warm. Stir to keep from burning.

4. Beat eggs and add cheese.

5. When spaghetti is done, drain and place pasta back in pot.

6. Quickly add egg and cheese mixture and mix well. (the heat from pasta will cook the egg.)
7. Add cream mixture and mix well.

8. Add meat and mix well.

9. Serve over favorite pasta cooked al Dente once.
